Official Opening

Kingsland Primary School was officially opened on Wednesday 30th June 2010 when the pupils and staff were joined by Scottish Borders dignitaries and guests and Councillor George Turnbull unveiled the commemorative plaque.

Three pupils shared their thoughts on the old school, the move and the new building. This was followed by burying a Time Capsule which was undertaken by Andrea Wilson and Irene Gowrie, two members of staff who retire at the end of this session.
