Coffee Morning Success
26/01/10
Kingsland Primary School hosted a Coffee Morning in the school building on Saturday 30th January from 10am until noon to give people in the community a last chance to look round the school before it closes for refurbishment. There was coffee or tea and scones and pancakes on offer and senior pupils were on hand to guide visitors around the building. Over 200 people enjoyed the chance to chat with staff and former pupils. The selection of old photos proved very popular and a great deal of time was spent reminiscing, identifying class members and working out the year the photo was taken. The pupils and staff will gather at the Rosetta Road building for the last time on Monday 22nd February when they will take registration and then walk to their new school.
