Dalguise Parents hear all about it! (05/11/08)
All the p7’s had a great time at Dalguise. There were tears, laughter and big, big smiles. On Monday night, 3rd November, the P7 pupils held a presentation for the P6’s and parents of P7’s and P6’s explaining all that happens at Dalguise. There was an amazing turnout at the meeting. Some children held up letters spelling D.A.L.G.U.I.S.E and as they shouted out their letter they told a little rhyme about Dalguise. The letters were bright and stood out. Twenty six other children drew pictures of the thirteen different activities which they took part in whilst at Dalguise. They went in groups of two and worked very well. With the picture they had to describe how they felt doing the activity, what it looked like, and most importantly what you had to wear. Three groups of two children had to make a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The menus were colourful and eye catching, but you didn’t get chips everyday. Ruairidh and Scott made a power point. Unfortunately, they couldn’t show it that night, but they will be going to the P6 classes to show them it later in the week. The presentation went very well and P7 used all their big voices. Don’t forget to have a look at the pictures at the front door, and believe us, when you go you’ll have a great time at Dalguise!!! By Claire and Jenny P7
