INTRODUCTION Welcome to our school website. Kingsland is a school where children, parents and staff are valued for the contribution they can make to school life. We aim to provide a stimulating environment which in itself presents opportunities for learning, encourages positive thinking and promotes self-esteem and good behaviour. We provide Peebles with a school that serves the north and west side of the community and its families with the highest possible standards of education, a school which encourages children to be successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens. The pupils and staff of Kingsland are proud to have moved into a brand new state of the art building on Monday 22nd February 2010. The site is a beautiful setting overlooking the town and the surrounding area. The facilities include large bright airy classrooms with floor to ceiling windows on one side and including smartboard technology in all classrooms, a spacious library, a general purpose room. Modern nursery accommodation for 60 shared places, a gym and dining hall which can be opened to a very large double size hall.
